As we are all enjoying this glorious weather I thought I would do an extension to my last “Swimwear as Daywear” blog and show you some more of the best swimwear pieces available online at the moment. There are prints, plains, and stripes in a variety of shapes and styles, cover-ups including kaftans, shirts and trousers. Hopefully there will be something that inspires you or reminds you of what you already have in your wardrobe. I have also included a variety of price points and a sustainable option that you may not have heard of.

Tankini

A tankini is great if you are conscious of your stomach area but don’t want to wear a one piece swimsuit. Wear the denim shirt unbuttoned with the sleeves rolled up for a relaxed look (see photo below for inspiration, this image is from Pinterest). This breton top will also work really well with a pair of shorts, either denim or linen.

A triangle bikini is what you need if you are looking for minimal coverage and maximum tanning! It is probably the classic silhouette that you think of when you hear the word bikini and is flattering on almost all body shapes. However, they do lack support, so opt for an underwire if support is what you need.

This is a really lovely print in a very flattering high waisted style. Worn with the loose fitting trousers and you have the perfect beach to bar outfit.

I've chosen the tie side bikini bottoms, but there are other shapes available in this print, so you can mix and match. The sheer chiffon skirt is a great coverup option to take you from the beach to the bar.
